New Year!

Hope y'all had a wonderful holiday!

I haven't been good about updating my blog or finishing my website.  I'm determined to do that this year, starting now!  My son, Jake, is working on my website for me.

It's exciting to see the kids get more and more interested in art, and develop their own individual styles!  I hope to have more classes in the next few months, and I'm always searching for new ideas.

I'll get back soon with more info and photos.

Have a wonderful January!

Happy Halloween!

Frankenstein and Nosferatu are glowing on the front porch!

Keegan age 17 months

He loved the pumpkin patch!

The house is ready for Halloween!  Tracy painted the Nosferatu and Frankenstein on the front porch, and there are goblins everywhere!  The bugs and spiders are real out here.

Em and Keith took Keegan to the Pumpkin Patch, they had a great time!

Fall AspenTrees

This project was inspired by photos from a friend, who was visiting her cabin in New Mexico and sent me BEAUTIFUL photos of the Aspen Trees with their fall foliage.  Thanks, Cheryl!!!

The contrast between the tree trunks, bright blue sky, and golden leaves was amazing, and I had to do something with it.

We did a mixed-media masterpiece using watercolor and cut papers.  The kids were amazing with this and as you can see, theirs turned out much better than mine!

Happy Fall!!!

Jaiden's Art
